Gucci Senior Operations Controller in White Plains, NY: oversee boutique operations, inventory, and luxury service excellence. $26–$27/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues and resolving discrepancies with Store Director or Operations Manager
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise including transfers, return-to-vendor (RTV), and damage documentation while adhering to all procedures and guidelines
- Maintain accurate and organized store inventory through oversight of cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with management support
- Develop and propose ideas to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Support the sales team in the selling process, ensuring the highest level of client experience and luxury service delivery
- Communicate discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique as needed
- Pack, handle, and store merchandise according to Gucci standards and protocols
- Place orders for all office and store supplies as required
- Ensure full compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of senior retail operations experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with proven ability to manage inventory efficiently
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and teamwork
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with store management, sales teams, and staff
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as required in retail
- Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and perform other physical requirements of the role

Experience
3+ years of senior retail operations experience in a luxury retail environment or comparable setting, with demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, and operational troubleshooting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or related field preferred.
