Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the store shipping and receiving process, reporting and resolving exceptions with the Store Director or Operations Manager.
• Manage timely movement of merchandise — including transfers, RTVs, and damaged stock — while ensuring adherence to company procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory integrity through oversight of cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliation, with direction from Store Director/Operations Manager.
• Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support sales teams in the client journey to ensure a seamless luxury service experience.
• Identify and propose process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Pack, handle and store merchandise in accordance with Gucci standards and place orders for store and office supplies as required.
• Communicate discrepancies or security issues immediately to management and ensure compliance with company security and operational standards.
• Assist with physical boutique maintenance and other facilities needs as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of senior retail operations experience, preferably within premium or luxury retail.
• Demonstrable experience with inventory control procedures, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a consistent attention to detail and accuracy.
• High degree of professionalism, ethics and integrity; ability to inspire trust and collaborate across teams.
• Effective verbal communication skills for collaboration with store management, sales teams and external partners.
• Flexibility to work varied retail hours including weekends and holidays; ability to meet physical demands (lifting, climbing, bending).

Skills

Experience

At least three years of progressive retail operations experience at a senior level within a high-volume or luxury retail environment, with direct responsibility for inventory integrity, shipping/receiving and store operational governance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, supply chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and demonstrable retail operations experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24.30 to USD 27 per hour.
