Gucci Senior Operations Controller — Plano (Legacy West): lead store inventory, shipping/receiving and operational governance for the boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute shipping and receiving processes; report and resolve discrepancies with the Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Manage timely movement of merchandise including transfers, return-to-vendor (RTV) and handling of damaged goods, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate, organised store inventory through oversight of cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliation activities.
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines and within defined timeframes.
- Support the sales team on the floor to ensure an exceptional client experience while balancing operational tasks.
- Communicate all inventory or operational discrepancies immediately to management and escalate when required.
- Pack, handle and store merchandise to Gucci standards and place orders for store and office supplies as needed.
- Contribute ideas to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs; assist with boutique physical maintenance and security compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of senior retail operations experience, preferably within luxury or premium retail.
- Demonstrable organisational and analytical capability with strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
- Solid knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software (receiving, tracking and storing merchandise).
- High degree of professionalism, ethics and integrity with the ability to inspire trust and teamwork.
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with store management and sales teams.
- Flexibility to work varied retail hours including weekends and holidays and meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, climbing, bending).

Experience
At least three years of progressive retail operations responsibility, ideally within a luxury fashion or premium retail environment, with hands-on experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and store operational governance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or diploma in business, retail, logistics or a related field preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Plano, Texas, USA, with easy access to Dallas.
