Gucci Senior Operations Controller in Plano, USA — oversee stockroom operations, inventory accuracy and shipping at the Legacy West boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes and escalate or resolve discrepancies with Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Manage timely movement of merchandise including transfers, RTVs and damaged goods while adhering to company procedures.
- Maintain an accurate, organized inventory through cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliations.
- Print, ticket and process merchandise returns and price adjustments in accordance with store protocols.
- Process repairs and damages promptly and per company guidelines.
- Pack, handle and store merchandise to Gucci standards and assist with physical maintenance of the boutique as required.
- Support sales staff in the selling process to ensure exceptional client experience.
- Contribute ideas to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs; support store initiatives and projects.
- Comply with all company policies, security and loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience; luxury or contemporary retail preferred.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information, set priorities and solve operational problems.
- High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with internal retail systems and shipping software programs.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting, bending and climbing ladders.
- Collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of retail experience required; prior experience in luxury retail preferred. Supervisory experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or an associate degree in retail management, logistics or a related field preferred.
