Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute shipping and receiving processes; report and resolve issues with Store Director or Operations Manager.
  • Manage timely movement of merchandise (transfers, RTVs, damages) in strict adherence to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organised store inventory through oversight of cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliations.
  • Perform and supervise inventory reconciliation and stockroom control to protect inventory integrity.
  • Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines and within established timeframes.
  • Support the sales team on the shop floor to ensure exceptional client experience and luxury service standards.
  • Pack, handle and store merchandise to Gucci standards and place orders for store and office supplies.
  • Identify and propose operational efficiencies to reduce costs and improve workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with company security, procedures and store operational standards; escalate discrepancies immediately.
  • Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and other ad hoc operational tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of senior retail operations experience, ideally within luxury retail.
  • Strong analytical and organisational capabilities with proven experience in inventory control and reconciliation.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity and the ability to build trust and teamwork across store teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes.
  • Proven knowledge of stock control procedures, receiving protocols and inventory management software.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with store leadership and sales teams.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, and to meet the physical demands of the role.

Experience
