Gucci Senior Operations Controller in East Rutherford, NJ—oversee retail operations, inventory, and compliance at luxury boutique
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute shipping and receiving processes, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in coordination with Store Director or Operations Manager
- Ensure timely and compliant movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage procedures
- Maintain accurate and organized store inventory at all times through oversight of cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation activities
- Develop and implement ideas to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Support the sales team to ensure the highest level of client experience and luxury service delivery
- Communicate all operational discrepancies and issues to management immediately
- Process repairs and damages in a timely manner according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance and organization of the boutique as needed
- Pack, handle, and store merchandise according to Gucci's exacting standards
- Place orders for office and store supplies as required
- Ensure strict compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of senior retail operations experience
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and teamwork
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage inventory efficiently
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with store management, sales teams, and staff
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations
- Physical capability to perform duties including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes

3 or more years of previous senior retail operations experience with strong analytical and organizational skills

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26 to USD 27 per hour.
