Gucci Korea seeks a Senior Media Manager in Seoul to lead media strategy, elevate brand desirability and drive sales across digital and traditional channels.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement an integrated media strategy across traditional and digital channels aligned to the marketing and communications calendar, product launches and seasonal priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into media plans that drive brand desirability and commercial performance across owned stores, wholesale partners and e-commerce.
  • Leverage market and media ecosystem knowledge (including Kakao and Naver) to innovate, run test-and-learn pilots and optimize channel mix.
  • Set KPI frameworks by objective (brand demand to performance), measure campaign effectiveness and iterate using attribution and measurement insights.
  • Own local media budget planning and execution with a bottom-up approach to maximize ROI and impact.
  • Manage and hold agency partners accountable for delivery, while directly leading the local agency relationship.
  • Produce and schedule native content, and coordinate integration between PR, product marketing, merchandising, client engagement and sales teams to enhance customer journeys and traffic generation.
  • Build, coach and develop the in-house media team, identify talent and put in place actionable individual career plans.
  • Partner with licensed-category teams (e.g., Coty, Kering Eyewear, Gucci Watches & Jewelry) to align and monitor cross-category media strategies.

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in media, with a strong focus on digital and data-driven optimization including Search and SEO.
  • Minimum 10 years in a management role with demonstrated leadership of teams and agency partners.
  • Established industry relationships and negotiation skills with major local platforms and vendors.
  • Proven ability to translate brand strategy into measurable media plans and to manage budgets rigorously.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Meticulous attention to detail while retaining the ability to prioritise strategic, big-picture objectives.
