Gucci Senior Manager, Retail Operations role in New York. Lead North market store operations strategy, inventory, and team development. $135–$145K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Vice President Retail and Area Directors to identify and implement store operation improvements
- Serve as change agent to drive operational initiatives and process improvements across the North market
- Conduct regular store visits and operational assessments, providing timely resolutions to store inquiries
- Lead local and global project initiatives, including store openings, renovations, and relocations
- Oversee training and development of retail operations teams, identifying knowledge gaps and ensuring career progression
- Monitor inventory accuracy and compliance through cycle counts, dashboard reporting, and physical reconciliation processes
- Disseminate and ensure adherence to all local, corporate, and global policies and procedures across all stores
- Provide operational training to new Store Directors and operations team members on tools, systems, and processes
- Evaluate and implement in-store processes and policies while protecting Gucci's brand integrity
- Support Store Directors in talent assessment and developmental planning for operations personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-store support roles within luxury or fashion environments
- Previous experience as a Store Director preferred
- Expertise in building materials and facilitating tools at store level
- Strong project management and logistical planning skills
- Experience collaborating with Store Planning, Inventory Control, Merchandising, Finance, MIS, Loss Prevention, and Training departments
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change management
- Strategic thinking with focus on measurable outcomes
- Valid work authorization to work in the United States
