Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and establish strong, lasting client relationships by providing best-in-class service both in-store and remotely, ensuring clients feel valued from first contact
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that foster loyalty and drive repeat business through tailored product recommendations and elevated service
- Build rapport by discovering client needs and aspirations, demonstrating generosity and commitment to exceeding expectations
- Develop and expand the client base by recruiting new clients and elevating existing ones to top-tier segmentation levels
- Leverage in-store technology and client data to ensure seamless, relevant experiences throughout the customer journey
- Drive sales excellence by monitoring KPIs, maximizing in-store and remote selling opportunities, and employing effective luxury selling techniques
- Employ cross-selling and upselling strategies that align products with client needs whilst maintaining a consultative approach
- Actively promote virtual appointments and distance selling opportunities to expand the client acquisition pipeline
- Maintain a holistic 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective across all transactions including exchanges, returns, repairs, and services
- Engage clients through expert product knowledge, storytelling, and honest styling advice grounded in fashion trends and market awareness
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with an enthusiastic, authentic attitude that resonates with clientele
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for new Client Advisors, facilitating knowledge transfer and brand alignment
- Actively participate in store operations including stock maintenance, inventories, and general administration
- Accurately process POS transactions whilst capturing client information with precision and confidentiality
- Contribute to visual merchandising standards by maintaining Gucci-aligned product displays throughout the store
- Perform opening and closing procedures including asset security, cash handling, and store access management
- Approve client returns and exchanges at the POS in accordance with company policies, balancing commercial and service considerations
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with an excellent track record
- Proven experience in a similar client-facing or customer service role within the luxury sector
- Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion, luxury goods, and brand storytelling
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and drive repeat business
- Proven sales ability with the capacity to exceed individual and store targets consistently
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence colleagues
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Excellent commercial awareness and client-centric mindset
- Ability to adapt to diverse clients and manage complex, high-pressure situations with grace
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy, precision, and unwavering commitment
- Demonstrated collaborative spirit and ability to act as a role model within a team environment
Skills
Experience
4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with a proven track record of excellence in a client-facing role, preferably within high-end retail or premium fashion environments. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining affluent client bases, driving sales results, and embodying luxury brand values.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; further retail, luxury service, or related tertiary education is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Wailea, Hawaii, USA, with easy access to Honolulu.
