Gucci seeks a Senior Client Advisor in Toronto to drive luxury sales and elevate client experiences through exceptional service and brand expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage clients and establish strong relationships through best-in-class service, both in-store and remotely, ensuring clients feel valued from first contact
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that foster lasting relationships, drive repeat business, and enhance brand loyalty
- Build client rapport by discovering needs and aspirations, demonstrating generosity, and consistently exceeding expectations
- Recruit and develop new clients, advancing existing clients to premium tiers of the customer segmentation model
- Leverage in-store technology to ensure smooth, pleasant, and relevant client experiences
- Collect and utilize meaningful client information throughout the journey to customize service and build preference data
- Provide valuable insights on local lifestyle trends—theatre, arts, travel, and cultural events—to enhance the client experience
- Drive individual and collective sales results by monitoring key performance indicators and maximizing selling opportunities across channels
- Employ effective selling techniques in a warm, natural, and elevated manner to drive sales while maintaining a client-centric attitude
- Select products matched to client needs and benefits, utilizing effective cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Proactively promote virtual appointments and distance sales opportunities to recruit and convert clients
- Maintain a "One-Gucci-Client" perspective regardless of purchase location, handling exchanges, returns, repairs, and transactions with professionalism
- Guide clients to make informed purchasing decisions aligned with their preferences and lifestyle
- Foster open and constructive communication with team members, acting collaboratively and proposing effective solutions
- Assist as first point of contact in resolving common client issues and needs
- Engage clients using storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Actively participate in product knowledge trainings to develop selling techniques and market insights
- Stay current on fashion trends, competitor activities, and client segmentation to deliver optimal solutions
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiasm and authenticity
- Support onboarding of new Client Advisors and facilitate training in collaboration with store management
- Actively participate in all store operations including stock maintenance, inventory management, and general administration
- Adhere to all policies and procedures with focus on loss prevention and operational excellence
- Accurately process POS transactions and capture client information
- Contribute to maintaining visual display standards in accordance with Gucci guidelines
- Maintain appearance in compliance with company grooming standards and Gucci policies
- Ensure optimal product levels on sales floor aligned with corporate policies
- Perform management functions including POS approvals for returns and exchanges as needed
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including secure handling of safes and store keys as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with an excellent track record
- Passion and natural inclination toward relationship building and people engagement
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy and commitment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teammates and serve as a role model
- Proven track record of driving and exceeding individual and store results while building lasting customer and colleague relationships
- Deep knowledge of and passion for fashion and luxury
- Flexibility to work retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent commercial awareness and client-centric attitude
- High adaptability and ability to manage diverse clients and complex situations
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic retail environment
Skills
Experience
4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience in a similar role or customer service setting, with a proven excellent track record of sales achievement and client relationship building.
Education

Compensation
