Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage clients to establish strong relationships and deliver best-in-class service both in-store and remotely, ensuring clients feel valued from initial contact
- Deliver personalized, client-centric experiences that foster lasting relationships, drive repeat business, and enhance brand loyalty
- Build rapport by discovering client needs and aspirations, demonstrating generosity and consistently exceeding expectations
- Develop client base through recruitment of new clients and elevation of existing clients to premium segments
- Leverage in-store technology to ensure smooth, pleasant, and relevant client experiences
- Collect meaningful client information to customize service and deepen understanding of individual preferences
- Create added value through insights on local lifestyle trends including theater, arts, and travel
- Drive individual and collective sales results by monitoring KPIs and maximizing selling opportunities in-store and remotely
- Provide exceptional service with focus on hospitality, elevation, selling skills, luxury gestures, and product rituals
- Employ effective selling techniques in a natural, warm, and elevated manner to drive sales and client-centric engagement
- Select products matched to client needs and effectively execute cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Proactively promote virtual appointments and distance sales to recruit clients and create selling opportunities
- Maintain a unified "One-Gucci-Client" perspective regardless of purchase location, handling exchanges, returns, and repairs with consistent excellence
- Guide and inspire clients to make informed purchasing decisions aligned with their needs
- Foster open, collaborative communication with team members while proposing effective solutions
- Assist as first point of contact in resolving client issues and concerns
- Engage clients using storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice informed by deep Gucci knowledge
- Proactively attend trainings to develop expertise in product knowledge and selling techniques
- Maintain current awareness of fashion trends, competitors, and client segmentation
- Combine styling expertise with product knowledge to serve clients effectively
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle with enthusiasm and authenticity
- Support consistent, branded onboarding of new Client Advisors and facilitate training initiatives in collaboration with store management
- Actively participate in all store operations including stock maintenance, inventories, and administrative activities
- Adhere to all policies and procedures with focus on loss prevention and operational excellence
- Accurately process POS transactions and ensure precise capture of client information
- Contribute to maintaining visual product displays according to Gucci visual standards
- Follow company grooming standards and policies at all times
- Ensure optimal product levels on sales floor in accordance with corporate policies
- Manage general store administration and functionality
- Perform management functions at POS including client returns and exchanges as needed
- Execute opening and closing procedures including securing assets and managing safe combinations and store keys as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with proven excellent track record, preferably in similar role or customer service setting
- Genuine passion and natural interest in relationship building and people engagement
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy and commitment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teammates and function as a role model
- Track record of driving and exceeding individual and store results while building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Deep knowledge and authentic passion for fashion and luxury
- Flexibility to work retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Skills
Experience
A minimum of 4+ years of demonstrated excellence in luxury fashion retail sales or comparable customer-facing roles within premium sectors. Experience should evidence strong personal sales achievement, sophisticated client relationship building, and exposure to managing client lifecycle activities. Prior involvement in or support of store operations, inventory management, and team mentoring will strengthen candidacy.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further fashion retail training, luxury service certifications, or related professional development is advantageous but not required.
