Role & Responsibilities
- Lead loss prevention efforts to ensure a safe work environment and protect company assets.
- Collaborate with retail management and staff to prevent losses through teamwork and training.
- Manage emergency and crisis incidents, ensuring the safety and security of all store team members and clients.
- Develop strategies to achieve and maintain shrink results that meet company expectations.
- Oversee the vetting, training, scheduling, and management of vendor guards.
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of loss prevention and safety policies.
- Ensure merchandise protection in accordance with loss prevention directives.
- Maintain a strong presence on the selling floor to deter theft and ensure security.
- Assist in investigations of theft incidents and cash discrepancies.
- Foster professional partnerships with store team members and local law enforcement.
- Ensure proper functioning of all store security systems, including CCTV and EAS.
- Support the Regional Security Manager with special projects.
- Assist with health and safety measures and physical inventories.
- Monitor store controls to identify potential dishonest employees.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in loss prevention or security-related roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions.
- Experience in driving successful loss prevention and fraud prevention programs.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Flexible scheduling to meet business needs.

A minimum of 2 years in loss prevention or security-related work is required.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position in California is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
