Gucci Sample Technician position in Novara, Italy. Translate luxury design into production-ready garments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate creative design concepts into functional prototypes and production samples
- Analyze materials, construction methods, and production timing to optimize manufacturability
- Conduct cost and material usage evaluations to reduce waste and improve production efficiency
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure adherence to quality and design specifications
- Support the definition of working methods and production sequences for garments and accessories
Qualifications
- Technical understanding of garment construction and materials science
- Proficiency in translating design intent into production specifications
- Knowledge of cost analysis and material optimization practices
- Familiarity with luxury apparel production standards and processes
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in sample production, garment engineering, or luxury apparel manufacturing is preferred.
Education
Technical training or certification in fashion/garment production, textile engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Novara, Piedmont, Italy, with easy access to Milan.
