Gucci Retail Training Manager (Canada) — 14-month contract in Toronto. Lead retail learning & development and deliver training across Canada.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement corporate retail learning strategies across the Canadian market, with emphasis on the selling ceremony and luxury service behaviors.
- Design, deliver and evaluate instructor-led training and eLearning programs to improve KPI performance and ensure a consistent client experience.
- Conduct needs assessments and partner with the General Manager, Canada and Director of Retail Training to create tailored development plans for stores and districts.
- Coach and mentor store teams through on‑the‑floor observation, feedback and modelling of luxury service standards.
- Develop training materials and decks for morning briefings, district meetings and regional training events.
- Facilitate monthly district training calls and contribute to regional content development and rollout.
- Measure training effectiveness by defining success metrics, analysing outcomes and reporting impact to stakeholders.
- Plan and execute small- and large-scale training events, managing logistics and adhering to travel and budget constraints (30–40% travel across Canada).
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in a formal retail training role with demonstrated success in designing and delivering store-level learning.
- Proven experience in client-facing retail environments; luxury retail background preferred.
- Experience planning and executing both small and large-scale training events with strong operational follow-through.
- Ability to travel up to 30–40% across Canada and manage within allocated travel budgets.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Experience
At least five years in a structured retail training or learning & development role, preferably within luxury retail. Additional direct client-facing retail experience is desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college or university preferred.
