Gucci seeks a Retail Trainer in Seoul to develop and deliver luxury retail training, coaching, and leadership development programs for store teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Understand luxury retail business and anticipate challenges to provide relevant training solutions at the level of retail excellence
- Align regional training priorities with worldwide strategy for organizational synergy
- Conduct key classroom training on collection, selling skill sets, clienteling, and service excellence
- Develop, modify, and update training content relevant to current business context and retail trends
- Support and collaborate with Merchandising, Client Engagement, HR, and Retail Excellence teams to provide comprehensive learning pipelines
- Utilize diverse training approaches including classroom instruction, digital platforms, and personalized coaching for maximum effectiveness
- Identify performance gaps in a timely manner and provide targeted learning solutions for store teams
- Ensure that classroom training is effectively acquired and implemented in retail locations
- Communicate and work closely with Retail Area Directors to provide customized learning solutions
- Plan and deliver in-store training based on monthly strategic plans
- Coach existing Client Advisors to bridge performance gaps and support business objectives
- Coach new Client Advisors on client-centric selling techniques and ceremony for successful onboarding
- Coach in-store training ambassadors and provide Train-the-Trainer (TTT) development
- Liaise with retail training management to ensure timely delivery and execution of field coaching progress and results
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in retail training, preferably within the luxury industry
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in learning and business matters
- Diligence and punctuality
- Digital literacy and comfort with technology-based learning platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
Experience
3–7 years of experience in retail training, preferably within the luxury sector. Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering training programs that drive retail excellence, performance improvement, and business growth.
Education
Secondary education minimum; tertiary education in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field is advantageous.
