Gucci Team Manager in Taipei — lead client experience, team coaching and retail operations for luxury fashion in Taipei City.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the store team to deliver an elevated client experience, modelling Gucci’s selling ceremony and hospitality-focused service on the sales floor.
  • Drive client acquisition and loyalty by implementing the company consumer management and client segmentation strategy and by executing targeted clienteling activities.
  • Utilize clienteling tools and digital platforms to capture meaningful client data, personalise outreach, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Monitor Client Advisor performance and implement daily/weekly/monthly plans to achieve clear clienteling KPIs and sales targets for assigned categories.
  • Own floor leadership during store opening/closing and act as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service delivery.
  • Coach, develop and provide regular feedback to Client Advisors through behavioural observation and the Training Follow-up App; lead performance and development conversations.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members using behavioural interviews and maintain a local talent pipeline; resolve employee-relations matters with People Partners.
  • Partner with Store In Charge and Merchandising to analyse sales results (KPIs, RED, people KPIs), provide product and stock feedback, and propose actionable improvement plans.
  • Ensure operational excellence by scheduling FTE according to traffic flow, maintaining visual merchandising and stock organisation standards, and adhering to health, safety and security policies.
  • Support local events and product launches to secure client attendance and deliver commercial results; remain attuned to local market trends and competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail with at least 3–5 years in client-facing retail roles and a minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales teams, conduct performance reviews, and manage recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing store KPIs and translating insights into concrete action plans to drive category growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build long-term client relationships and manage escalations to preserve brand reputation.
  • Fluent in the local language with proficiency in English; comfort using digital sales and clienteling tools for data-driven client development.

Experience
