Gucci seeks a Retail Team Manager in Saint‑Tropez, France to lead boutique sales, coach staff and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and inspire the boutique sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve sales targets across all product categories.
  • Create and maintain a professional, collaborative and high‑performance work environment through regular feedback, monthly evaluations and tailored development plans.
  • Run daily or morning briefings and provide real‑time floor coaching to align the team with commercial priorities and service standards.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding and talent integration in coordination with store leadership and HR to build a team centered on excellence.
  • Monitor sales performance by category, propose proactive commercial actions and collaborate with merchandising and store management to optimise assortments and stock flow.
  • Ensure correct use of retail systems and HR platforms (e.g. Workday, ADP) and act as the liaison between store management and HR on employee matters.
  • Oversee customer relationship activities including clientelling, after‑sales follow up and resolution of customer complaints to preserve long‑term loyalty.
  • Support daily store operations as required: stock receipt and control, visual standards, point‑of‑sale processing, packaging and cash handling.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail leadership with experience managing and developing front‑line sales teams in a luxury environment.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and translating commercial strategy into floor actions.
  • Excellent coaching, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to give constructive feedback and drive team engagement.
  • Strong customer‑service ethos with experience in clientelling and relationship development.
  • Familiarity with retail systems and HR tools (Workday, ADP) and an ability to implement internal processes and standards.

Experience
