Gucci Team Manager – 14-month contract role in Toronto. Lead retail team and drive luxury client experiences. CAD 72–80k annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Client Advisors on the selling floor, ensuring consistent client experience and daily performance coaching
- Develop and execute clienteling strategies to activate, retain, and grow personal and team client bases through consumer management tools
- Manage store operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, visual merchandising standards, and inventory management
- Conduct regular performance conversations and lead morning briefings to communicate business objectives and key messaging
- Monitor category performance, analyze selling reports, identify trends, and develop action plans to achieve business targets
- Lead product training initiatives and build Client Advisor product knowledge across all categories
- Participate in attracting, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of retail team members
- Execute local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales achievement
- Manage customer service issues and resolve concerns to retain client relationships
- Ensure full adherence to company policies, loss prevention procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
- Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
- Strong grasp of KPIs and ability to analyze selling reports and business trends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with clienteling platforms and consumer management databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to inspire, influence, and develop team members with integrity and professionalism
- Passion for the fashion industry and luxury retail
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related environments. Demonstrated success leading teams, driving client-centric sales strategies, and achieving measurable business results in a fast-paced retail setting.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 72,000 to CAD 80,000 per annum.
