The Retail Merchandising Intern supports Gucci’s Retail Merchandising Team, focusing on the Women’s Shoes category through business reporting, product monitoring, sales analysis, and sales campaign activities. The internship includes learning the team’s methods and developing product, competitor, and merchandising knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare launch reports and control data to analyze business performance.
- Monitor best-selling and slow-moving items and their coverage.
- Support the team in preparing weekly comments on sales performance.
- Help collect data to place bulk orders before each sales campaign.
- Support activities before, during, and after each sales campaign.
Qualifications
- Currently entering the final year of university and planning a gap semester for an internship, or graduated within the past two years.
- Successful studies in Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous curricular, extracurricular, or educational experience abroad is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Involvement in university curricular activities and volunteering activities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for fashion and luxury trends.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
