Role & Responsibilities

  • Create the first prototype garment.
  • Evaluate and implement garment construction improvements for better fit, in collaboration with the Ready-to-Wear Samples Coordinator and the team of pattern makers and technicians.
  • Revise garments based on fitting adjustments.
  • Construct sample garments.
  • Produce pre-production industrialized garments.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in garment production processes and various stages of garment construction.
  • Diploma in fashion technology or tailoring.
  • Proficiency in operating machinery such as overlock and straight stitch machines.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics and yarns.
  • Experience in garment pressing.
  • Fluency in Italian and proficiency in an additional language.

Skills

Speed and precision in studying and interpreting patterns. Effective organizational and planning abilities.

Experience

Experience in garment construction and tailoring within a luxury fashion environment is required.

Education

Diploma in fashion technology or tailoring.
