Gucci People Partner — Las Vegas: HR Business Partner role supporting retail and corporate HR operations in Las Vegas, NV.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR advisor for retail and corporate stakeholders in the Las Vegas market, providing timely guidance on policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
- Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment approvals, hiring, separations, exit interviews, position descriptions, and HR documentation to ensure consistency and legal compliance.
- Lead talent development initiatives: coach retail managers, create development plans, administer performance management, and conduct seasonal talent reviews to drive internal mobility and retention.
- Design and deliver onboarding, orientation and in‑store training programmes; ensure new hires complete 30/60/90 probationary evaluations and are versed in brand fundamentals and code of conduct.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to source and recruit Team Managers, Store Directors and boutique staff; maintain candidate pipelines and liaise with external agencies for efficient hiring.
- Drive business‑focused HR strategies by analysing trends, producing monthly reports on employee performance and recruitment needs, and influencing cross‑functional leaders to improve results.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, performance improvement processes, disputes and grievances with appropriate documentation and timely follow‑up.
- Undertake regular market visits across multiple locations and travel domestically as required to support multi‑site retail operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least two years in a management or supervisory capacity.
- Proven HR experience within luxury fashion retail or a comparable high‑end retail environment, leading HR functions across multiple sites.
- Demonstrable ability to align HR objectives with retail business goals, including talent acquisition, retention and succession planning.
- In‑depth knowledge of employment practices, performance management, investigations, and employee relations.
- Flexible domestic travel availability and demonstrated capacity to support multiple locations.
- Strong stakeholder influence and relationship management skills; ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organisation.
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years in Human Resources, including a minimum of 2 years in a management role; relevant experience leading HR for luxury retail or multi‑site retail operations is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
