Operations Merchandiser at Gucci Seoul | Manage Travel Retail inventory flow and seasonal shipments
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end stock-in and inventory management processes, collaborating with the Supply Chain Management team to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and ensure seasonal product launches execute on schedule
- Prepare shipment documentation, registering merchandise information on the DF system to facilitate smooth stock-in procedures
- Navigate pricing strategy with headquarters, ensuring harmonized Duty-Free pricing aligned with brand positioning
- Investigate and review price variance across markets, accounting for foreign exchange fluctuations and regional market conditions
- Provide comprehensive merchandising support and guidance to retail store teams
- Conduct market research and clientele analysis as required to inform merchandising strategy
- Review and execute stock rebalancing and product transfers between Duty-Free Operators to optimize distribution
- Share merchandising information, market insights, and seasonal updates with external partners and Duty-Free Operators to ensure consistent brand representation and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 4 or more years of professional experience in fashion brand operations or merchandising
- 2 or more years of hands-on experience in Travel Retail or Duty-Free business
- University degree in a fashion-related field
- Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills

4 or more years of professional experience in fashion brand operations, with a minimum of 2 years in Travel Retail or Duty-Free business environments. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory flow management, seasonal product planning, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Education
University degree in a fashion-related field is preferred.
