Gucci Operations Merchandiser in Seoul – inventory and travel retail specialist managing stock flow and seasonal operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end stock-in and stock management processes in collaboration with Supply Chain Management to align inventory levels with sales plans and secure timely season launches
- Prepare shipment documentation and register merchandise information on distribution systems for smooth stock-in operations
- Navigate and coordinate with headquarters on pricing strategies for duty-free markets
- Investigate and review price gaps across markets while reflecting foreign exchange rate fluctuations
- Provide comprehensive merchandising support and guidance to retail stores and duty-free operators
- Conduct market research to understand clientele preferences and market dynamics
- Review and conduct stock rebalancing and transfer arrangements between duty-free operators
- Share merchandising information and seasonal updates with external partners to ensure consistent brand representation and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 4 years or more experience in fashion brands
- 2 years or more experience in Travel Retail or duty-free business
- University degree in fashion-related field preferred
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Skills
Experience
4 years or more of experience in fashion brand operations; 2 years or more in Travel Retail or duty-free business highly valued. Demonstrated experience in inventory flow management, seasonal planning, and cross-functional coordination with supply chain and retail teams.
Education
University degree in fashion-related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury fashion merchandising may be considered.
