Role & Responsibilities

  • Systematically drive, improve, and maintain operational excellence and efficiency across all store aspects, monitoring quantitative and qualitative KPIs to inform action plans
  • Ensure meticulous organization of back-of-house areas, stock rooms, cash counters, maintenance and tailoring rooms, product care, and holding areas
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and ensure accurate merchandise tracking and store cycle counts
  • Monitor and ensure correct management of all payment flows—cash, store credits, deposits, discounts—and guarantee accurate daily till reconciliation
  • Oversee omnichannel activities including in-store collection, pay-by-link transactions, iPad point-of-sale systems, and appointment booking services
  • Liaise and serve as cross-functional point of reference with Retail, Security, Facility, Inventory Control, Digital, and Merchandising teams to execute operational standards
  • Ensure all operations tools and systems are functioning properly at all times with full technical knowledge, supported by active sales floor presence
  • Oversee and lead product care team to guarantee efficiency in all after-sales and before-sales activities and KPIs
  • Guarantee adherence to company guidelines and local regulations on payments, returns, exchanges, refunds, and sensitive transactions while minimizing checkout wait times
  • Follow all security procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and stock losses; assist with floor coverage and store opening/closing procedures
  • Supervise general store maintenance and ensure all IT equipment functions properly, guaranteeing excellent client hospitality experience
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate store operations and back-office teams to achieve operational excellence, fostering positive and collaborative work environment
  • Plan communication and implementation of new operational policies, training all staff on store procedures and tools
  • Assist in training new Operations Managers and support teams in store openings, closures, refurbishments, and temporary stores within the market or region
  • Support Store Director in managing and controlling costs and efficiency
  • Manage the uniform order process from entry and allocation to distribution
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities; propose and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and drive business growth
  • Set and foster effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house managers and team members
  • Coach and develop direct reports in operations, customer service, and sales support
  • Actively lead annual Performance and Development Conversations and conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members
  • Ensure effective and timely onboarding for new team joiners
  • Manage and resolve employee-relations matters in partnership with Store Managers and People Partners
  • Partner with Store Director to attract, recruit, and retain high-performing operations personnel

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of retail operations management experience, preferably in fast fashion or luxury retail
  • Proven track record of success in managing inventory, logistics, and store operations
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels in an international environment
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals
  • Knowledge of retail best practices, market trends, and customer behavior
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, SAP, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); knowledge of RFID systems is a plus

Experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
