Gucci Operations Controller at Woodbury Commons, Central Valley. Manage inventory and stockroom operations for luxury retail boutique. $23–$24/hour.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes and report any discrepancies to Store Director or Operations Manager for timely resolution
  • Ensure accurate and timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTVs), and damage claims in accordance with established procedures
  • Identify and resolve operational problems in collaboration with Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Maintain clear and accurate operations documentation and procedures for reference purposes
  • Submit all required tax-exempt forms upon receipt
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational issues to management immediately
  • Process merchandise repairs and damage claims according to company guidelines on a timely basis
  • Assist with physical maintenance and upkeep of the boutique
  • Place orders for supplies needed for office and store operations
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
  • Execute and maintain an accurate and organized store inventory at all times
  • Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliations with support from Store Director or Operations Manager

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operations or stockroom role, preferably within fashion retail or the luxury sector
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and foster teamwork
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage inventory efficiently
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software including receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with store management, sales teams, and other staff members
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes
