Role & Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure it is tidy and merchandise is stored efficiently according to Gucci directives.
  • Improve storage and stock control systems, suggesting layout enhancements as needed.
  • Supervise the flow of goods between stockrooms and the shop floor, ensuring proper arrangement of articles.
  • Manage the organization and replenishment of all packaging materials and shop floor consumables.
  • Receive and verify weekly deliveries, ensuring stock matches invoices and reporting discrepancies.
  • Unpack deliveries and store merchandise according to company procedures.
  • Process paperwork and administrative tasks related to inventory management.
  • Maintain stock levels based on client demand and ensure staff uniforms are available.
  • Coordinate with Inventory Control for deliveries, stock transfers, and stock takes.
  • Manage Return to Vendor processes and prepare markdowns before sale periods.
  • Conduct full and mini stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to the store manager.
  • Identify faulty stock, liaise with suppliers for repairs, and manage the Gucci service portal.
  • Support internal departments by maintaining communication with sales teams, merchandising, and visual merchandising.
  • Liaise with the press department regarding stock requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external personnel.

Skills

Planning and organization Problem-solving Teamwork Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Inventory management skills with the ability to reconcile stock counts Language skills, preferably English

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience in a similar operations or inventory management role within the luxury retail sector.
