Gucci Part-Time Operations Controller in San Antonio, Texas. Oversee boutique inventory, stockroom operations, and compliance with luxury retail standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing timely resolutions
  • Ensure efficient and compliant movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage processing
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures in collaboration with store leadership
  • Maintain organized, accurate documentation of operational procedures and processes
  • Perform store cycle counts and scheduled inventories with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Process repair requests and merchandise damages according to company guidelines
  • Manage office and store supply ordering and procurement
  • Maintain boutique physical upkeep and assist with facility-related tasks
  • Submit tax-exempt forms and documentation as required
  • Communicate operational discrepancies and issues immediately to management
  • Ensure strict adherence to company security and compliance protocols

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operational or inventory control role
  • Previous experience in fashion retail or luxury goods sector preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management software and stock control procedures
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and perform manual stockroom duties
