Gucci Part-Time Operations Controller in San Antonio, Texas. Oversee boutique inventory, stockroom operations, and compliance with luxury retail standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing timely resolutions
- Ensure efficient and compliant movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage processing
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures in collaboration with store leadership
- Maintain organized, accurate documentation of operational procedures and processes
- Perform store cycle counts and scheduled inventories with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
- Process repair requests and merchandise damages according to company guidelines
- Manage office and store supply ordering and procurement
- Maintain boutique physical upkeep and assist with facility-related tasks
- Submit tax-exempt forms and documentation as required
- Communicate operational discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Ensure strict adherence to company security and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operational or inventory control role
- Previous experience in fashion retail or luxury goods sector preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management software and stock control procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in inventory documentation
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and perform manual stockroom duties

Experience
2–3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector. Demonstrated expertise in stock control procedures, inventory management software, and merchandise handling across receiving, tracking, and storage operations.
