Gucci Operations Controller part-time role in Roseville, CA. Manage inventory, stockroom operations, and logistics at this luxury retail boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes with accuracy, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing timely resolutions
- Oversee timely and compliant movement of merchandise including transfers, return-to-vendor (RTV) items, and damages according to established procedures
- Conduct regular store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation activities with guidance from Store Director or Operations Manager
- Maintain organized and accurate store inventory at all times, ensuring precise stock records and documentation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions collaboratively with management
- Maintain clear, comprehensive operations documentation and procedures for staff reference
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines within established timeframes
- Submit all required tax-exempt forms and documentation upon receipt
- Communicate all discrepancies and operational issues immediately to management
- Assist with physical maintenance and aesthetic upkeep of the boutique
- Coordinate office and store supply ordering and inventory management
- Enforce strict compliance with company standards, procedures, and security protocols
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in an operations, stockroom, or inventory control role
- Prior experience in fashion retail or the luxury sector preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with inventory management software and stock control systems
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock-keeping operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations
- Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and perform manual stockroom tasks
Skills
Experience
2–3+ years in an operations, stockroom, or inventory management role, ideally within fashion retail or the luxury sector.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management systems or retail operations is advantageous.
