Gucci seeks an Operations Controller to oversee stockroom efficiency, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day operational support at its Orlando outlet location. The successful candidate will execute shipping and receiving processes, manage merchandise movement, perform inventory reconciliation, and ensure compliance with company standards while supporting the Store Director and management team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and resolving them promptly
  • Ensure timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage documentation while adhering to all procedures and guidelines
  • Identify operational problems and resolve them in a quick and timely manner in collaboration with Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Maintain clear and accurate operational documents and procedures for reference and compliance purposes
  • Submit all required tax-exempt forms as received
  • Communicate all discrepancies and issues immediately to management
  • Process repairs and damage claims on a timely basis according to company guidelines
  • Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and stockroom
  • Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
  • Execute and ensure accurate and organized store inventory at all times
  • Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, security procedures, and guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operational or inventory management role
  • Proven experience preferably within fashion retail or luxury sector
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock control processes
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes

Experience

2–3 years of previous experience in a similar operations or stockroom role, preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and retail operations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business administration, supply chain management, or retail operations is a plus.
