Gucci Operations Controller in Orlando, FL. Part-time stockroom and inventory management role supporting boutique operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTVs), and damage processing while adhering to all company procedures
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and process inefficiencies in consultation with Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Maintain clear, organized, and accurate operations documentation and procedures for ongoing reference and compliance
  • Submit all required tax-exempt forms and documentation as received
  • Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational issues immediately to management
  • Execute and maintain an accurate, well-organized store inventory at all times
  • Perform store cycle counts, scheduled full inventories, and reconciliation activities under direction of Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Ensure strict compliance with company standards, security procedures, and loss prevention protocols
  • Manage supply ordering for both office and store as needed
  • Assist with physical maintenance and upkeep of the boutique environment
  • Process repairs and damaged merchandise according to company guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in operations, stockroom management, or similar role
  • Preferably prior experience in fashion retail or the luxury sector
  • Advanced proficiency in inventory management software and stock control systems
  • Demonstrated ability to receive, track, and store merchandise accurately
  • High degree of professional integrity and ethical judgment
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in inventory and stock management processes
  • Ability to inspire trust and foster positive teamwork with store management and sales teams

Experience

2-3+ years of experience in operations, stockroom management, or a comparable role, preferably within fashion retail or the luxury sector. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency with inventory management software, stock control procedures, and the ability to oversee receiving, tracking, and storing of merchandise accurately.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management or business administration coursework is a plus.
