Gucci is hiring an Operations Controller in Orlando. Manage stockroom, inventory and store operations for the luxury fashion house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving operations, escalate and resolve discrepancies with Store Director or Operations Manager.
- Oversee timely movement of merchandise—transfers, RTVs, damages—and ensure adherence to store procedures and security protocols.
- Maintain an accurate, organized stockroom and own cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliation processes.
- Document and update operational procedures and maintain clear records for reference and compliance.
- Process repairs and damage reports according to company guidelines and submit tax‑exempt / form 8300 documents as received.
- Support boutique maintenance and place orders for office and store supplies as required.
- Communicate operational, service, facilities and compliance issues proactively to management and assist in rapid problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year administrative or stockroom experience; experience in luxury retail preferred.
- Familiarity with internal retail systems and shipping software programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role (lifting, bending, climbing ladders).
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience
At least one year of administrative, stockroom or inventory-related experience; prior exposure to luxury retail operations or a high-end boutique environment is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable with relevant retail/operations experience.
