Gucci Operations Controller in Naples, Florida. Manage boutique stockroom, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence. Luxury retail position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting any issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing necessary resolutions
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise as directed, adhering to all procedures including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), and damage documentation
- Identify operational problems in collaboration with Store Director or Operations Manager and resolve them promptly
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documents and procedures for reference purposes
- Submit all required tax-exempt forms as received
- Communicate all discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique
- Place orders as needed for office and store supplies
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
- Execute and maintain an accurate and organized store inventory at all times
- Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operations or retail role, preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and teamwork
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage inventory efficiently
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software, including receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with store management, sales teams, and staff members
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations
- Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes
Skills
Experience
2–3+ years of experience in operations or retail management, preferably in the fashion or luxury sector. Demonstrated experience managing stockroom operations, executing cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management or operations certification preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Naples, Florida, USA, with easy access to Miami.
