Gucci Operations Controller in Naples, Florida: manage inventory, stockroom operations, and day-to-day retail logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to store management and resolving them promptly
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of merchandise including transfers, returns, and damage documentation
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions in collaboration with store leadership
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate operations documentation and procedures for reference
- Submit all required tax-exempt forms upon receipt
- Communicate inventory discrepancies and operational issues immediately to management
- Process merchandise repairs and damages in accordance with company protocols
- Support physical maintenance of the boutique and stockroom
- Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
- Ensure full compliance with company standards, security procedures, and operational guidelines
- Execute and maintain accurate and organized store inventory systems
- Perform cycle counts, scheduled inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis under management direction
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in operations or inventory management roles
- Prior experience in fashion retail or luxury sector preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with inventory management software and systems
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock control processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures, receiving, tracking, and merchandise storage protocols
- Ability to multitask and maintain productivity in a fast-paced retail environment
- Physical ability to climb ladders, bend, and lift boxes regularly
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
Skills
Experience
2–3+ years of experience in a similar operations or inventory control role, preferably within luxury fashion retail or the broader luxury sector
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications in retail operations or inventory management a plus
