Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting any issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and resolving them promptly
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise—including transfers, returns, and damages—whilst adhering to all procedures and guidelines
- Assist with identifying and resolving operational challenges in a quick and efficient manner
- Maintain clear and accurate operational documents and procedures for reference purposes
- Submit all required forms (8300 and tax-exempt documentation) as received
- Communicate all discrepancies and issues to management immediately
- Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique
- Oversee store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support from the Store Director or Operations Manager
- Ensure an accurate and well-organized store inventory at all times
- Serve as a Gucci Ambassador, promoting brand values and luxury client experiences
- Provide comprehensive support to the sales team on the sales floor through various sales support, point-of-sale, and inventory functions
- Greet clients with a warm and professional demeanor, directing them to sales associates or supervisors
- Support the sales team throughout the sales process to ensure optimal client experience
- Assist sales associates with VIP client appointments, preparing deposits and concluding transactions
- Provide assistance to sales associates and clients at fitting rooms
- Manage multi-line telephone system with exceptional professionalism
- Understand client needs and direct them to appropriate departments
- Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Package items and provide support during the payment process
- Facilitate merchandise transfer requests, credit sales for delivery, and product inquiries
- Collect accurate client data necessary for transaction completion in accordance with company expectations
- Assist sales staff in locating various styles and sizes from inventory
- Submit all return and exchange documentation to the on-duty manager for receipt signature attachment to daily closing records
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Gucci products and company policies, particularly regarding credits, sales, and customer service
- Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
Qualifications
- Fluent communication in French and English
- One year of administrative or stock experience, preferably in a luxury environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability for oral and written communication
- Knowledge of technology to utilize internal retail systems and shipping software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes
- Flexibility to work retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of multi-line telephone systems
Skills
Experience
One year of administrative or stock experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment. Experience with retail operations, inventory management, and point-of-sale procedures is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
