Gucci Operations Controller – Part-Time, Miami. Manage stockroom operations, inventory, and merchandise logistics at Gucci's Aventura boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing timely resolutions
  • Ensure efficient and timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage documentation while adhering to all company procedures and guidelines
  • Collaborate with Store Director or Operations Manager to identify operational process problems and resolve them quickly and systematically
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and organized operations documentation and procedures for ongoing reference
  • Submit all required tax-exempt forms upon receipt and as directed
  • Communicate all discrepancies and operational issues immediately to management
  • Process equipment repairs and merchandise damage claims on a timely basis in accordance with company guidelines
  • Support physical maintenance of the boutique and stockroom facilities
  • Place and manage orders for all office and store supplies as needed
  • Execute and maintain accurate, organized store inventory at all times through meticulous stock management
  • Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation activities under the direction and support of the Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Ensure full compliance with company standards, security procedures, and operational guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years or more of experience in operations, stockroom management, or inventory control, preferably within fashion retail or the luxury sector
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity; demonstrated ability to inspire trust and foster teamwork
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage inventory efficiently and systematically
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all stock management and documentation processes
  • Solid knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software, including receiving, tracking, and merchandise storage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of store management and team members
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the retail industry
  • Physical capability to meet the role's requirements, including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting boxes regularly
