Gucci Operations Controller in Miami Design District — manage stockroom, inventory and store operations for Gucci in Miami.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes and escalate issues to the Store Director or Operations Manager; coordinate resolution and documentation.
  • Manage timely movement of merchandise including transfers, RTVs and damages while enforcing company procedures and security guidelines.
  • Oversee and maintain an accurate, organised store inventory through cycle counts, scheduled inventories and reconciliation.
  • Identify operational process gaps and implement corrective actions with Store leadership to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain clear operations documentation and store procedures for reference and audit purposes.
  • Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Place orders for store and office supplies and assist with physical maintenance of the boutique as needed.
  • Submit 8300 and tax-exempt forms as received and communicate all discrepancies or compliance issues immediately to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or stockroom experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate retail technology and shipping software programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Physical ability to meet role requirements (climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes).
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
