Gucci Operations Controller position in Houston, Texas. Part-time role managing inventory and store operations for a luxury fashion boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute shipping and receiving processes while reporting issues and resolutions to Store Director or Operations Manager
  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage processing
  • Identify operational problems and implement timely resolutions in collaboration with store management
  • Maintain organized and accurate operational documentation and procedures for team reference
  • Process tax-exempt forms and submit all required documentation as received
  • Communicate discrepancies and issues to management immediately upon discovery
  • Conduct repairs and damage assessments according to company guidelines
  • Support physical maintenance of the boutique facilities
  • Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
  • Execute and maintain accurate store inventory at all times
  • Perform cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with Store Director or Operations Manager guidance
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security protocols

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fashion retail or luxury sector
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail in stock management processes
  • Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, multitasking environments
  • Excellent communication skills with store management, sales teams, and staff
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing, bending, and lifting

Experience
