Gucci Operations Controller role in Houston—manage stockroom operations, inventory, and day-to-day retail support at the Saks location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and implementing necessary resolutions
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor, and damage processing according to company guidelines
- Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support from Store Director or Operations Manager
- Identify and troubleshoot operational process problems in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain clear and accurate operational documentation and procedures for reference and compliance
- Submit all required tax-exempt forms upon receipt and maintain proper filing systems
- Communicate all discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
- Assist with physical maintenance and upkeep of the boutique
- Ensure compliance with company standards, security guidelines, and all applicable procedures
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operations or stockroom role
- Experience in fashion retail or the luxury sector preferred
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage inventory efficiently
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management software systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, and lift boxes regularly

Experience
2–3+ years of professional experience in a similar operations, stockroom, or inventory management role, ideally within fashion retail or the luxury sector.
