Gucci Operations Controller position in Honolulu—manage inventory, stockroom operations, and retail logistics for a luxury fashion boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee shipping and receiving processes, reporting discrepancies to management and implementing corrective measures
- Manage timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), and damage processing in accordance with company procedures
- Conduct and reconcile store cycle counts and scheduled inventories with direction from Store Director or Operations Manager
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory at all times, ensuring precision in stock management systems
- Identify operational inefficiencies and collaborate with management to resolve issues promptly
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines and timelines
- Maintain clear, accurate operational documentation and procedures for reference and audit purposes
- Submit required tax-exempt forms and documentation upon receipt
- Order and manage supplies for office and store operations
- Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique and ensure compliance with company security guidelines
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in fashion retail or luxury sector
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and teamwork
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in stock control processes
- Knowledge of inventory management software and stock control procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with store management and team members
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to meet physical demands including climbing ladders, bending, and lifting merchandise
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of professional experience in retail operations or inventory management, preferably within the fashion or luxury retail sector.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management certification or relevant coursework is advantageous.
