Gucci Operations Controller in Central Valley, USA – manage inventory and stockroom operations. $23–$24 USD/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes, reporting and resolving issues with Store Director or Operations Manager
- Ensure timely merchandise movement including transfers, returns-to-vendor (RTV), and damage documentation whilst adhering to all procedures and guidelines
- Identify and resolve operational problems quickly and collaboratively with Store Director or Operations Manager
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documentation and procedures for reference purposes
- Submit required tax-exempt forms as received
- Communicate all discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Process repairs and damages on a timely basis in accordance with company guidelines
- Assist with physical maintenance and upkeep of the boutique
- Place orders for office and store supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines
- Execute and maintain accurate, organized store inventory at all times
- Perform store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with direction from Store Director or Operations Manager
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in a similar operations or stockroom role, preferably within fashion retail or luxury sector
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity
- Strong organizational and inventory management capabilities
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in stock management processes
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory management systems
- Proficiency with receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with store management, sales teams, and staff members
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays as required by retail operations
- Physical capability to climb ladders, bend, lift boxes, and meet standing/walking requirements
Skills
Experience
2–3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector. Prior experience in stockroom management, inventory operations, or related retail operations functions is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, operations, or supply chain certification is valued but not required.
