Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate Men's Shoes collection development calendars, key milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment across Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Costing and other relevant functions
• Gather and consolidate collection inputs, product requests and technical information, translating them into clear priorities, schedules and follow-up actions for the teams involved
• Monitor the development of prototypes, samples and SKUs from sketch handover through review and final product delivery, proactively identifying risks, delays and open points
• Act as a day-to-day point of connection between the Creative team and Gucci ArtLab / Industrial teams, ensuring timely exchanges on prototyping, materials, technical feasibility and sample development
• Organize and support collection reviews, fittings and key alignment meetings, ensuring that samples, overviews and all relevant documentation are complete, accurate and available
• Maintain accurate tracking and archiving of sketches, samples, prototypes, collection overviews and product information across shared digital folders and physical archives
• Coordinate sample movements and product reviews, ensuring that items are recorded, sent to the appropriate teams and returned or archived according to agreed timelines
• Partner with Merchandising, Product Development and Costing teams to support target-price alignment, cost monitoring and timely identification of optimization opportunities
• Consolidate cross-functional feedback, including merchandising, product, costing and legal inputs, and ensure its timely circulation and follow-up with the relevant teams
• Monitor collection-related expenses and purchase invoices, supporting budget accuracy and the correct tracking of costs connected with prototypes, materials, travel, meetings and events
• Provide clear and regular status updates to the Shoes Collection Coordination Director and relevant stakeholders, escalating critical issues and proposing practical solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of collection coordination tools, ways of working and information flows, promoting collaboration, accuracy and accountability across teams

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in product development, collection coordination or a comparable role within the luxury fashion industry
• Direct experience in Men's Shoes product development strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of footwear product development processes, from creative concept and sketch handover to prototyping, fittings, costing, sample reviews and final delivery
• Proven ability to manage complex calendars, multiple priorities and a high number of stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with excellent attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across Creative, Merchandising, Industrial, Legal and external partners
• Proactive, solution-oriented and accountable approach, with the ability to anticipate issues and support timely decision-making

Skills

Experience

5–7 years of experience in product development, collection coordination or a comparable role within the luxury fashion industry; direct experience in Men's Shoes is strongly preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 45,000 per annum.
