Gucci seeks a Manager, Talent Development in New York to lead People Development strategy across the Americas, including talent programs, leadership initiatives, and onboarding experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Gucci's People Development strategy and priorities across retail and corporate populations in the Americas
- Partner with HR People Partners and business leaders to identify development needs, capability gaps, and targeted actions aligned with individual and organizational goals
- Support talent review and succession planning processes, including coordination and follow-through of individual development plans for identified talent and high-potential successors
- Coordinate and deploy development actions such as coaching, mentoring, stretch assignments, cross-functional exposure, and internal mobility opportunities
- Drive awareness and adoption of Talent Match, Career Hub, and other development tools that support career ownership and internal talent visibility
- Support the design, localization, and activation of leadership and manager development programs aligned with Gucci House priorities and leadership expectations
- Facilitate leadership programs, manager communities, workshops, and targeted development experiences for retail leaders, emerging talent, and corporate populations
- Own and continuously enhance Gucci Americas onboarding and integration experiences with focus on retail organization
- Monitor onboarding effectiveness and recommend improvements based on business feedback and evolving organizational needs
- Function as primary Gucci Americas People Development partner to the Kering L&D team, ensuring development priorities are connected to available learning solutions
- Gather business feedback and insights on Kering L&D solutions and share recommendations to support adoption and continuous improvement
- Use survey feedback, talent data, and business insights to identify development priorities and recommend focused actions
- Develop communications, toolkits, and resources that increase awareness and adoption of Gucci People Development initiatives
- Track impact and provide clear reporting on participation, feedback, outcomes, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in talent development, leadership development, organizational development, or related Human Resources role
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment across stakeholder levels
- Ability to work autonomously and drive projects
- Effective leadership skills and ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams to deliver results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to effectively present information in a clear and concise fashion
- Proper work authorization to work in the United States
Skills
Experience
4+ years of experience in talent development, leadership development, organizational development, or a related Human Resources role, with demonstrated ability to design and execute people development strategies at scale across diverse organizational populations and geographies.
Education
Bachelor's degree desired.
