The Mail Distribution Associate joins Gucci’s Milan Mail Distribution team within the Corporate Facility Department, managing mail and shipments and supporting corporate functions. The role includes coordinating internal shuttle services between company sites and requires availability for flexible hours and shift work; it is a maternity cover.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately manage parcels, mail and similar materials from courier and postal services.
- Sort incoming correspondence and ensure its timely, accurate delivery to internal departments.
- Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Monitor shipment status and maintain accurate tracking of inbound and outbound flows.
- Manage and archive logistics documentation in line with requirements for order, traceability and accuracy.
- Support the organization and management of internal shuttle services between company sites, ensuring proper loading and unloading, material traceability and adherence to agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Previous experience in logistics or similar operational roles.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Availability for flexible working hours and shift work.
- Dynamic attitude, strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a clear service-oriented approach.
- Good knowledge of major courier platforms and applications.
- Proficiency in standard IT tools, including Outlook and Excel.
