Role & Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on data protection and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and the Compliance program
- Support business functions in identifying privacy and compliance implications from new initiatives, technologies, and operational projects
- Review and negotiate privacy and compliance-related contractual provisions
- Conduct and maintain Data Protection Assessments (DPIAs, LIAs, DTAs, AI) and Register of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Conduct and maintain compliance risk assessments related to AML, anti-corruption, and Italian Law 231/2001
- Analyze activities and data flows to ensure regulatory and privacy compliance with appropriate risk mitigation measures
- Analyze third-party due diligence and screenings
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries
- Coordinate and manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs) from employees, clients, third parties, and public authorities
- Partner with Retail, Finance, HR, Procurement, and other business functions to ensure privacy and compliance across operations
- Liaise with Kering Privacy and Compliance teams, Data Protection Officers, and external advisors
- Support awareness and training initiatives to strengthen compliance and data protection culture
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Law
- Interest and motivation to develop expertise in compliance and data protection matters
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and risk assessment capabilities
- Ability to manage high operational workloads and multiple priorities
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn corporate systems and databases (CRM platforms, internal tools)
Skills
Experience
Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or regulatory matters, either in-house or within a law firm, is considered advantageous. Qualification as a practicing lawyer is a plus.
Education
Master's Degree in Law required. Bar admission or professional legal qualification is desirable.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 35,000 per annum.
