Role & Responsibilities

  • Design knitwear panels and garments using specialized software, selecting appropriate machines for the yarn type and knitting techniques such as stitches, jacquard, and intarsia.
  • Develop programs using Shima Seiki software for the creation of prototype garments in collaboration with the designated knitter.
  • Create size grading programs essential for the production phase of garments.
  • Resolve programming issues to prevent setup problems in knitting machines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in knitwear programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shima Seiki machine programming software.
  • Excellent understanding of yarns.

Experience
