Gucci Inventory Reporting Analyst in Scandicci, Italy – financial analyst role managing gross margins and inventory finance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations and analyses of gross margins across channels, products, and categories for both forecasted and actual performance
- Support preventive margin analyses in coordination with the Pricing team to optimize financial performance
- Prepare budget and forecast projections related to gross margin performance and monitor variance
- Conduct monthly actual analyses including Mix, Price-Cost, and Volume variances
- Ensure governance and audit of systems used by the Financial Sales & Inventory Planning team
- Oversee inventory count processes and ensure proper execution, monitoring, and documentation
- Analyze stock adjustments and assess their financial impact on profitability
- Conduct risk analyses related to inventory discrepancies and investigate high shrinkage levels
- Monitor store-to-store transfer performance, evaluating associated costs and benefits
- Track stock damage volumes including second-quality products from production and identify critical issues
- Coordinate and monitor global and regional inventory reduction initiatives with timely follow-up on agreed actions
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Inventory Finance, or similar analytical roles
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated financial acumen
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Thorough understanding of gross margin dynamics and financial performance indicators
- Demonstrated experience in reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis
- Solid knowledge of inventory accounting principles and inventory-related financial processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Inventory Finance, or similar analytical roles within a financial or operational control environment. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of conducting financial analyses, managing budgets, and maintaining data accuracy in fast-paced settings.
Education
Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

This position is based in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, within easy reach of Florence.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 38,000 per annum.
