Gucci seeks an HR Operations Specialist in Seoul to manage HR administration, compensation, and benefits operations on a fixed-term basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, providing necessary training to ensure organizational compliance
- Handle administrative processes including visa applications, relocation support, time and attendance system management, retirement pension claims, and organizational change documentation
- Manage and execute compensation and benefits operational cycles, including monthly payroll closing, benefit allocation, leave monitoring, and retirement pension administration
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, including handicapped employee levy, workplace childcare surveys, and veteran's office filings
- Maintain internal HR documentation including employment certificates, leave records, benefit guides, and labor compliance notices
- Ensure HR operational practices comply with local labor law and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee compensation and benefits data within the HRIS system
- Promote digitalization and adoption of new tools to streamline HR and compensation administration practices
- Coordinate and manage all employee benefit programs, including flexible benefits, group insurance, child tuition allowances, and recognition programs
- Partner with Kering Shared Services to optimize benefits documentation and processes
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for administrative practices within HR
- Process HR invoices and contracts in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external vendors related to payroll, benefits, insurance, retirement pension, and employee welfare programs
- Support accurate and timely payroll administration through data validation and payroll closing
- Administer compensation-related processes, including annual salary reviews and variable compensation documentation
- Maintain compensation data integrity and prepare compensation-related reports
- Support compensation benchmarking and market salary analysis initiatives
- Manage employee inquiries related to benefits, leave, and compensation programs professionally and promptly
- Assist in planning and executing HR-driven events including onboarding sessions, long service awards, and talent reward programs
- Collaborate with HR leadership to drive employee engagement and team activation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR operations, compensation and benefits, or employee services
- Experience supporting payroll administration is highly preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset

Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR operations, compensation and benefits administration, or employee services. Experience supporting payroll administration is highly preferred.
