Gucci HR Cost Controller role in Singapore, managing headcount planning and people cost optimization across South Asia & Pacific region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and complete monthly headcount reporting by department across HR and Finance systems, with monthly reconciliation of payroll, general ledger balances, and personnel cost reporting systems
- Lead budget and forecast processes for personnel cost planning, validating employee information and position data while incorporating compensation packages and statutory payouts in HR planning systems
- Prepare headcount, productivity, and cost analysis presentations for Finance and HR business reviews to support leadership decision-making and identify opportunities for resource optimization
- Assess financial impact and provide recommendations for new hiring requests, organization restructuring, headcount planning for store projects, and incentive scheme changes
- Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits, ensure compliance with corporate policies and financial controls, and maintain continuous improvement of HR cost management processes
- Partner with HR and Finance shared service teams to resolve discrepancies, manage payroll-related liabilities and accruals, and ensure timely submission of external service resources to headquarters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Workforce & People Cost Planning in an international environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with HRIS, ERP, and planning systems such as SAP, SAC, Workday, Power BI, or equivalent platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a continuous improvement mindset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in Financial Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Workforce & People Cost Planning in an international environment, with demonstrated experience in headcount management, cost planning, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement in a multinational organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
