Gucci HR Controller position in Scandicci, Italy. Manage people costs, budgeting, and financial analysis for luxury fashion house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze HR-related costs including FTE and headcount evolution, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior leadership
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of People Cost packages during monthly closings, collaborating with HR and Finance teams to validate and reconcile data
- Lead and support budgeting and forecasting processes for HR costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and workforce planning
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within HR operations, monitoring spending against financial targets
- Conduct in-depth analyses and support development of business cases for HR initiatives, organizational changes, and investment decisions
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance Controllers, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on people cost management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similar roles, preferably in an international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated business acumen
- Proficiency in financial and HR reporting tools such as SAP, Workday, Excel, and Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative and drive for continuous improvement
Skills
Experience
3–4 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or similar roles, preferably in an international environment. Experience with monthly financial closings, people cost analysis, and cross-functional collaboration is expected.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required. Master's degree is preferred.

This position is based in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, within easy reach of Florence.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 38,000 per annum.
