Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with store managers to recruit and onboard all positions within the assigned boutique network.
- Design and deploy talent development, performance improvement and succession plans for the population served.
- Ensure compliance with French labour law and company policies; implement corrective actions and procedural updates as needed.
- Lead and coordinate internal communications related to organisational changes and store mutations.
- Support the rollout and operational deployment of the training plan across boutiques.
- Serve as primary HR advisor to operational managers on all HR matters (employment law, recruitment, career management, compensation, training).
- Escalate to specialist expertise (internal or external) when complex legal or technical issues arise.
- Coach and guide managers through recruitment decisions, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, promotions and conflict resolution.
- Manage disciplinary and legal employee cases end-to-end, in coordination with legal counsel when required.
- Coordinate disciplinary measures with store leadership and the HR Director, and prepare related documentation.
- Organise and manage social dialogue with employees and employee representatives; prepare and participate in meetings of employee representative bodies.
- Contribute to the drafting and implementation of internal agreements and collective arrangements.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of French labour law and social dialogue mechanisms (employee representatives/works councils).
- Proven ability to manage disciplinary procedures and labour litigation in collaboration with legal counsel.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to coach operational managers through sensitive HR decisions.
- Discretion, confidentiality and sound professional judgment when handling employee relations and legal matters.
- Fluency in French; professional working knowledge of English is advantageous (not explicitly specified in source).

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HRBP or HR generalist role with exposure to retail or luxury operations and hands-on management of employee representative bodies and disciplinary cases.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline; advanced HR qualification or master’s degree preferred.
